Message | Pastor Darryn Scheske

Student Prayer | Addy

Heavenly Father, I come to you today with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for allowing me to call You my Father, a privilege so undeserved, yet freely given. Your Word says that through Your Spirit, we cry out, “Abba, Father,” and I am overwhelmed by the intimacy and love those words convey. You are not distant; You are near, guiding, providing, and embracing me with a love deeper than I can comprehend. I thank you for that love. I thank you that I am not just Your creation—I am Your child, adopted into Your family, and called by Your Name. Father, thank You for Your patience when I falter and for loving me despite my flaws. Thank you for seeing me and never leaving me. Knowing You care for me as a perfect parent fills me with so much comfort and peace as I walk through such an uncertain world. I love You, and I trust You to lead me today and every day.
God, Your Name is above all names, and I stand in awe of who You are. Your character is unchanging, and Your power is unmatched. You are my Righteousness, the One who cleanses me from all sin and makes me whole. You are my Sanctifier, calling me out of darkness into Your true and pure light. You are my Healer, the One who mends my brokenness—whether in body, mind, or spirit. You are my Banner of Victory, defeating the enemies I face and reminding me that I am more than a conqueror through Christ.

You are my Shepherd, gently leading me and speaking to my heart. You are my Peace, calming the storms around me and quieting the chaos within me. You are my Provider, meeting every need, even before I voice it. Lord, Your Name is a strong tower where I can run and be safe. I have seen Your faithfulness all around me, in this church and all throughout this community and I am truly amazed by how You continue to show up. I lift Your Name high, for You alone are holy, powerful, and worthy of all worship.

Lord, I surrender my plans, desires, and understanding to You because I trust that Your ways are higher and better than mine. Your way is the only way for me Lord. I need you Lord. Your Kingdom is what this world desperately needs. I pray for Your will to be done, in not just my life, but in my family, in my community, and across this nation. Teach me to desire what You desire and to align my heart with Your purposes.

Teach me to see how you see Lord. Father, I intercede for the people around me. For those who are lost, I ask that they would encounter Your love and truth and for them to come to know You as their Savior. I pray for revival to sweep through not just this church but all churches and communities, awakening hearts to Your presence and power. I lift up our leaders—both in the church and in the world. Grant them wisdom, integrity, and humility to lead according to Your will. Help me to be an ambassador of Your Kingdom, showing love, grace, and truth in all I do. Show me how I can serve You today.

Father, I look to You as the source of all I need. Every good gift comes from Your hand, and I trust You to provide for me today. You know the burdens on my heart—the decisions I need to make, the worries that weigh me down, and the challenges I face. I lay them all at Your feet, knowing You care for me and have the power to meet every need.

Lord, I ask for Your provision not just for me but for those around me. Provide comfort for the grieving, strength for the weary, a way for the lost, food for the hungry, and healing for the hurting, I ask all of that in your name. Lord, teach me to depend on You fully and to trust that You will provide exactly what I need, in Your perfect timing. Lord thank you that trusting in your timing allows me to have an eternal peace in my heart, a peace that eliminates fear and proclaims victory. Lord thank you that your peace that I can overflow to others and be an example for others.

Lord, I come before You with a repentant heart, asking for Your forgiveness for my sins. I confess the ways I have fallen short—through my words, my actions, and even my thoughts. Cleanse me, Lord, and help me to turn away from anything that dishonors You. Thank You for the grace You pour out on me so freely, washing me clean and restoring me to You.

Father, as I receive Your forgiveness, I also choose to extend it to those who have wronged me. I release the pain, anger, or bitterness I may be holding onto, trusting You to bring justice and healing. Help me to love and forgive as You have forgiven me, showing mercy and grace to others even when it’s difficult. Thank You for the freedom and peace that come through your forgiveness. Thank you that your forgiveness binds people together, uniting them under your kingdom.

Father, I acknowledge that the battles I face today are not just physical but spiritual. The enemy seeks to deceive, distract, and destroy, but I stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Help me to recognize the lies of the enemy and replace them with Your promises. Guard my heart and mind against temptation, and give me the strength to walk in obedience to You.

I declare that no weapon formed against me will prosper, for You are my defender and protector. Surround me with Your angels and cover me with Your armor—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit. Strengthen me in the areas where I am weak, and remind me that through Christ, I already have the victory.

Lord, I lift my eyes to You, acknowledging that You are sovereign over all. You created the heavens and the earth by Your great power, and nothing is too hard for You. You reign over every circumstance, every challenge, and every heart. Your Kingdom is eternal, Your power is limitless, and Your glory is unending.

Father, I thank You for the countless ways You’ve shown Your power and faithfulness in my life and I trust that You are working all things for my good, even when I can’t see the full picture. Lord I pray over today, I pray for my decisions to reflect you, allow me to be a blessing to others, Lord that when I walk into any room, you are seen through my image. Lord thank you for equipping me for any challenge I face and for never letting go of my hand every step I take. I love you Lord! I give all honor, praise, and glory forever.
