Day 4 | God Desires Humility, Not Perfection
January 8, 2025
Message | Pastor Darryn Scheske
Student Prayer | Nate
Our Father, who are in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
Thank You for being here with us and loving us unconditionally. We are grateful to share this relationship with You and long for the whole world to know You.
We worship Your holy name.
You are our provider, encourager, comfort, strength, and Lord. You are faithful, and we thank You for Your love and grace.
Father, we submit to Your plan.
You know what we truly need, and we trust in Your promise to prosper us and give us hope, including the lost sheep we are praying for.
Lord, Today, I want to specifically lift up those who are far from you… Just picture someone right now who you know who is far from God… Lord, The 99 come together to pray for the one. You know every hair on their head and have cared for them since the beginning. Today, we ask You to draw them near. Send Your Holy Spirit and someone to share the Gospel in a way that opens their hearts. Give them a desire to surrender to You, knowing You are the source of peace that surpasses all understanding.
We rebuke the enemy’s hold.
We cast out anything that stands between these lost sheep and You: pride, fear, guilt, anxiety, and bad habits. Fill their hearts with Your Holy Spirit and lead them into a life-changing relationship with You.
Let them experience Your love.
Help them see You are not mad at them but madly in love with them, with open arms ready to embrace them. Let them cry out, “Abba, Father,” and experience the joy of sonship in Your family.
Use us as vessels.
Make us salt and light, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. Help us represent You well and plant seeds for Your kingdom. Let us join in the work You are already doing in their lives.
Grant them wisdom, Lord.
Help them understand their need for You and the price Jesus paid for their salvation. Let them know they are made right with You and have received Your grace.
We trust in Your power and believe this will be done in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
