January 11, 2025

Message | Pastor David Cawston

Student Prayer | Sergio

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of this day and for waking us up to experience Your mercies, which are new every morning. Thank You for the breath in our lungs and the chance to live in Your purpose today. Lord, You are so faithful, even when we are not. Your love sustains us, and Your grace carries us. You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. We praise You for who You are—our good and perfect Father.

Your name is holy and set apart. You are our provider and our healer. You restore what feels broken, renew what feels lost, and give strength to the weary. Your name deserves all the glory, honor, and praise because You alone are worthy. Let everything that has breath praise You.

God, I lift up every name and every heart represented here. You know their joys and their struggles, their fears, and their dreams. You remind us that You have plans for us—plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. Meet each person where they are, Father, and remind them that nothing is too hard for You. Teach us to trust You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding.

Jesus, I thank you that you have forgiven us for the times we have fallen short. You promise that if we confess our sins, You will forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Help us to forgive others as You have forgiven us, just as Christ taught us.

Grow in us the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Prune away anything that doesn’t bear fruit, so that we may abide in You, for apart from You, we can do nothing.

Father, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Guard our hearts and minds in Christ and help us to stand firm, knowing that the battle belongs to You.

Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. You are our rock and our salvation; we will not be shaken. We trust in You, Lord, and we give You all the praise. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray.

Amen.
