What The World Needs Now? Love

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.” –Jesus, John 15:9 NKJV

You are the BELOVED daughter/son of God

When you’re in love, what is the one thing you want

When you’re in love, what is the one thing you want
For the one we love to love us back.

Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37–40, NIV 

I am a BELOVED daughter/son of God

Confident in God’s authority

Secure in what God says about me

Resting in His care and provision 

I am to love my neighbor this same way:
Defined and Connected

Defined

This is what I THINK
This is what I BELIEVE
This is what I FEEL
This is what I'm going to DO

Connected

To be present, to listen to seek to understand
Am I still listening?

Defined AND Connected

This is a skill, a work of the Spirit, that grows over time by practice

Seeing and naming something you have not seen before opens up new possibilities.

You can’t take off what you can’t see.
