Who is your source of security? You or God?
God thinks differently than you and I.
Money problems are not math problems.
Money problems are spiritual issues.
God uses money to demonstrate His power

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the Gardener...you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love." John 15:1,4–5,7–9 NKJV

Giving breaks the power money has over us!

Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase. Proverbs 3:9

“To me, this means that giving to God’s work should have the first priority over all other uses of money, and therefore I give, preempting all other uses, until I have met that commitment.” – Ron Blue, Master Your Money, p.240

“For I am the Lord, I do not change. Therefore, you are not consumed. Yet since the time of your fathers you have turned away from my ordinances and have not kept them." Malachi 3:6–7

Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty. Malachi 3:6–7

“But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’ Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me. But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ ‘In tithes and offerings.’” Malachi 3:6–7

You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me.” Malachi 3:7–9

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Malachi 3:10

Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon you so great you will not have room to contain it. Malachi 3:10

Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon you so great you will not have room to contain it. Malachi 3:10

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord Almighty. Malachi 3:11

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your lap. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.–Jesus, Luke 6:38
