The role of a Care Pastor is to provide meaningful care and support to the members and attendees of Heartland Church, as well as those in our community while helping every person take their best next right step. Acting as a member of the Pastoral Care Team, Care Pastors aim to show the love of Jesus tangibly by responding to those in crisis and using Godly wisdom to connect them to appropriate resources and/or help. Care Pastors are also responsible for the strategic and proactive development of appropriate systems, resources, and relationships, ensuring that every person who connects with the Church is cared for efficiently and effectively. This position will partner with the whole of pastoral care, internal staff teams, and the Dream Team of the church to grow the Pastoral Care Ministry of Heartland Church.
