Day 12 | God has a Purpose for You!
January 16, 2025
Message | Pastor Darryn Scheske
Student Prayer | Parker
Our everlasting Father, we worship Your name and place You above everything in our lives. You are Jireh, Yahweh, our Immanuel—the Prince of Peace, King of kings, and Lord of lords. You are the beginning and the end, our Wonderful Counselor, and Redeemer of all things. Thank You for the sacrifice You made on the cross to give us salvation and eternal life.
God, we pray Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let Your peace reign over us for all our days. Less of us and more of You, God. You leave the 99 to seek the one, and today, we pray for those far from You to be drawn into Your kingdom.
Father, we trust You to supply all we need—our health, survival, and well-being. You know us better than we know ourselves, and we cast all our cares on You, for only You can handle them. We lay our anxieties at the foot of the cross and trust in Your strength to fill us. Make us bold as we take on each day with Your power in our souls.
Forgive us for the times we’ve tried to live in our own strength. Have mercy on us, Lord, and help us forgive others as You have forgiven us. Free us from the burden of unforgiveness and lead us into the freedom of the Holy Spirit.
Protect us, God, against the workings of the enemy. Let us face every challenge with the strength You’ve placed within us. Your word says no weapon formed against us will prosper, and we trust that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Comfort the grieving, strengthen the weak, and bring peace to those facing fear, anger, or uncertainty. Be near to the lonely and give hope to those in need.
God, You are our strength in weakness, and Your divine power is beyond anything we can imagine. The battle is won, and Your victory is set. Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.
Amen.
