John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Mark 1:1–15
Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins... Mark 1:1–15
And he preached, saying, “There comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” Mark 1:1–15
It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. Mark 1:1–15
And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. Then a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Mark 1:1–15
The Father is love
The Son is the object of the Father’s love
The Spirit is the experience of Father’s love
When God gives the Holy Spirit, His great object is a transformed mind and heart
You are not what you DO
You are not what others SAY
You are not what you HAVE
“You are my beloved son/daughter, in whom I am well-pleased”
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. — Jesus, John 15:9 NKJV

The beginning of the “Good News,” the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Mark 1:1
“I will ask the Father, and he will give you the Holy Spirit, who will never leave you, and who will be in you, and lead you into all truth. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Those who love me are the ones who accept my commandments and obey me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” –Jesus, John 14:16–21
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Mark 1:15
