Jesus knew that they wanted to ask Him, so He said to them, “Are you wondering among yourselves about what I meant when I said, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me’? I assure you and most solemnly say to you, that you will weep and grieve [in great mourning], but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. John 16:18-20

What is doubt?
Something that I see or experience that my heart can't process.
Faith is not the absence of doubt, but the means to move through doubt.
How Do I Move Through My Doubt?
Religious
Secular
Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold. Psalm 73:1-2
Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure and have washed my hands in innocence. All day long I have been afflicted, and every morning brings new punishments. Psalm 73:13-14
3 Questions to Ask When You are Confronted with Doubt:
1. What is beneath my doubt?
For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. Psalm 73:3
They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong. They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills. Psalm 73:4-5
This is what the wicked are like— always free of care, they go on amassing wealth. Psalm 73:12
2. Where should I process this doubt?
When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny. Psalm 73:16-17
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
3. What will I hold on to?
When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered, I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you. Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel and afterward you will take me into glory. Psalm 73:21-24
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25-26
